Avignonesi

Avignonesi has become a leader in biodynamic viticulture in Italy. Located in Montepulciano, and sitting on 175 hectares, the winery produces organic wines that are unique yet authentic to the region. Sustainability plays an important role at Avignonesi, and all wine receives minimal intervention during the process from picking the grape to bottling the wine.

The property is magnificent, with a circular set of vineyards and a long driveway lined with trees. The structure is grand with beautiful architecture. There are various offerings including tours, tastings, meal experiences and even a cooking class. We did a tastings on their outdoor patio, right off the wine bar. It was such an intimate experience. We were able to select the wine we wanted to choose and every one was delicious.
